Manually Running a Sample  

1. If you are using a syringe to manually load the sample through the inject port on the front of the chromatography module:

   a.  Go to the Home panel and verify that the injection valve is in the Load position. If it is not, click the valve to switch it.

   b.  Load the sample into the injection valve's sample loop.

   c.  Switch the injection valve to inject.

2. If you are using an AS autosampler, go to the Autosampler panel:

   a .Enter the sample position and injection volume.

   b. Click the Load/Inject button to start the autosampler loading process. After the AS has loaded the sample, the valve is switched to inject automatically.

3. Go to the Detector panel, point to the panel (not the Audit Trail or signal plot) and right click to open the context menu.

4. Select Acquisition On from the context menu. You can also click the Acq On button on the Sequence Control panel.

5. Click Autozero to set the baseline conductivity to zero.

6. When sample analysis is complete, select Acquisition Off from the context menu, or click Acq Off on the Sequence Control panel.
